Hello, From what you are describing it sounds like there could be a clog within the machine, which would impede the suction functioning correctly. Another common problem is the recovery tank. Most often the square piece of plastic that attaches to the side of the recovery tank is not snapped in-- it comes loose when you dump the tank. Take off the lid, pull the clear plastic sqare (about 4 inches by 5 ) that is attached on the OUTSIDE of the recovery tank and snap it back into place. 2nd make sure the rubber rim is clean and free of debris. 3rd attach the lid with the hinges on the back first then snap down the lid. 4th make sure the yellow float is down on the bottom (this is inside the filter inside the recovery tank). 5th put the recovery tank in the machine FRONT FIRST (where the two round peices of plastic are)then back, snap the sides back to lock the tank in place. If these things dont work....make sure your not clogged with debris on the top (but I am sure you would have seen this before doing all the rest!) Hope some of this helps. Thank you for choosing GoVacuum.com. Sincerely, |
