How do I get the tool attachments of this Hoover model to work? I insert the hose into the tool door connection but the brush still runs and there is no suction through the hose. - Charles

Hello Mr. Spalding,

There is probably an obstruction somewhere in your machine. The first place I would check would be the hose itself. Start by running a penny through the hose to see if it comes out the other side. Another place to check is right behind the brushroll where the air goes through the beginning of the tubing. Final place to check is when you turn the machine on pull off the bag cover and see if it inflates, if it doesn''t, then you know there is an obstruction in the pathway leading to the bag. Once you find that obstruction your machine should operate perfectly.

Sincerely

Mike
