Hi Sharyn,

Thank for your interest in Govacuum.

The Kirby 2000 can use several different styles of bags. Really any bags for the Generation series Kirby''s other then the new Sentria Style F bags will fit your model.

There are several different grades of bags that are available however. Here''s a list of the bags that will fit your machine, and the differences between these bags:

These are the best quality bags that are available for your Kirby, and are highly recommended if you have breathing issues, or allergies in your home:

Kirby Vacuum Bags for your home

These are the second best quality bags, but are a paper bag rather then a disposable cloth bag like the link above. These are the bags that came with your modelfrom the factory:

Kirby Paper Bags

The step below these are still a micro-lined bag, but do not have near the filtration material inside the bag as the one above does:

Kirby Microlined bags

Finally these bags are just a basic, standard single ply bag which are much less effective at capturing fine dust particles, but are fine to use if allergies or breathing issues are not an issue in your home:

Kirby standard ply bags

In terms of the accessories, just as the bags go, you may use any of the accessories for any of the Kirby Generation Series. Are you looking for any specific attachment?I have attached the parts diagram for your model to this email that will show you all of the accessories that are available with your Kirby. If you see something you''d liketo purchase, please just reply to this email, or just give me a call, I''ll be happy to place the order for you.

Hope this helps.
