When vacuuming scatter rugs which are on linoleum, the suction of this Euro Pro vacuum is overly powerful. It just grabs the rug and won''t move. Is there some way to lighten up the suction? - Glenda

Greetings from Govacuum,

Thanks for your question. There usually is a vent on the handle of the hose on the Shark vacuum cleaners, or called a suction bleeder. This vents some of the suction so that you may vacuum delicate things such as rugs or curtains. You should be able to just slide this vent or suction bleeder, and then vacuum your scatter rugs.

Hope this helps.
